The official Jordanian news agency, Petra, said, "Under royal directives, an initiative was launched to support our brothers in Gaza. It is a mobile bakery with a high production capacity of up to 3,500 loaves of bread per hour."
The agency explained that the bakery will begin production upon its arrival in Gaza to alleviate the human suffering caused by the war there, as it will work in cooperation with the World Central Kitchen, an international non-governmental organization that provides meals and food aid to those affected by conflicts and disasters.
The dispatch of the mobile bakery comes as part of the ongoing Jordanian efforts to provide humanitarian, relief and medical aid by all available means, by land and air, to Gaza.
