Israeli occupation launches an arrest campaign in the West Bank

This morning, Tuesday, the Israeli occupation forces launched an arrest campaign in the West Bank.


In Bethlehem, the occupation forces arrested Abdullah Faisal Maali and Jihad Ahmed Hamash from the Deheishe refugee camp in the south, and Imad Muhammad Dhuib (50 years old) from the town of Za’tara in the east, after raiding and searching their homes.


The occupation forces also stormed the Karkafa area in central Bethlehem, and raided and searched a number of homes belonging to citizens from the Zawahra family, without any arrests being reported.


In the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem, the occupation forces raided a number of homes belonging to citizens: Muhammad Mahmoud Abu Mufreh, Nasri Al-Amur, Ibrahim Khalil Abu Mufreh, and the brothers Mahmoud and Baraa Khalil Al-Badan.


In Ramallah, the occupation forces stormed Birzeit University in the town of Birzeit, north of Ramallah, and arrested four students from inside its campus.


Local sources reported that the occupation soldiers stormed the university campus and arrested the four students, and vandalized the contents of the activity rooms belonging to the student movement. The detainees are: Hassan Saleh, Amr Kayed, Amjad Nobani, and Fadi Abu Al-Sa'adeen.


In Nablus, the occupation forces stormed Balata camp accompanied by a bulldozer, amid heavy gunfire, raided a number of homes and arrested citizen Moaz Al-Zubaidi.


The occupation forces also stormed the town of Awarta and raided the home of citizen Abdul Salam Awad and arrested him after assaulting him and his family and tampering with the contents of his home.


In Hebron, the occupation forces stormed a number of neighborhoods in the town of Adh Dhahiriya, and interrogated about 14 citizens inside a house, which they turned into a field investigation center, and which belongs to the citizen Muhammad Al-Tal.
