The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Lebanon has risen to 2,011 dead and 9,535 wounded since October 8, 2023 until the end of Thursday.
This was reported by the Lebanese government's Disaster Management Unit in its daily report issued on Friday. According to the report, about 153 Israeli airstrikes and shelling were recorded on Thursday in various areas of Lebanon, most of which were concentrated in the south of the country and the southern suburbs of Beirut.
He added, "The number of dead and wounded as a result of this reached 37 and 151 wounded, bringing the total number since October 8 to 2,011 martyrs and 9,535 wounded."
He pointed out that "the total number of displaced persons officially registered in shelters (equipped by the state) has risen to 172,100 people, distributed across 931 centres in various Lebanese regions."
