British newspaper: Israel plans a ground invasion of Lebanon

Israel is planning a ground attack that includes occupying areas deep inside Lebanese territory.

The British "Economist" added to the escalation of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, and stated that although it is not a full-scale war at the present time, Israel is planning a ground invasion of Lebanon that includes occupying an area of several kilometers, which will serve as a buffer zone north of the border.

This is according to military officials who spoke with the British weekly newspaper.
