An Israeli security delegation arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, on Thursday, to participate in talks to conclude a prisoner exchange deal with Hamas, according to official Hebrew media.
The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation said, in a post on the X platform, that "an Israeli security delegation arrived in Cairo with the aim of completing the talks to conclude a prisoner exchange deal," without further details.
The official body did not mention whether the delegation included the heads of Mossad, David Barnea, and Shin Bet, Ronen Bar.
There was no immediate comment from the United States, Egypt, Qatar or Hamas in particular.
