An Israeli drone attacked sites in southern Lebanon, killing three people and wounding at least 22, while Hezbollah targeted several military sites and gatherings of Israeli soldiers in the border area.
Two people were killed and four others were injured in an Israeli raid that targeted a vehicle in Marjeyoun Square. One person was also killed and another was injured in a bombing that targeted the town of Blida. In a raid on the town of Abbasiyeh, 17 people were injured, including children, four of whom are in critical condition.
The Israeli army spokesman announced on Wednesday that Israeli Air Force aircraft carried out a series of raids on military sites, missile launch pads, and Hezbollah infrastructure in southern Lebanon.
This comes at a time when the mutual shelling between Hezbollah and Israel continues, amid a state of anticipation for the expected response from Iran and Hezbollah to the assassination of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, and the prominent military commander in Hezbollah, Fouad Shukr.
