A young man was shot, another was injured by bullet fragments, and a number of citizens were injured by sound and gas bombs, and suffocated. A citizen was arrested, on Wednesday evening, following an attack by the Israeli occupation forces on citizens’ homes in the town of Al-Khader, south of Bethlehem.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that a young man was injured by rubber-coated metal bullets in the back, another was injured by live bullet shrapnel in the back, another was injured by a tear gas canister in the shoulder, a girl was injured by a sound bomb in the hand, and a number of citizens suffered from suffocation due to inhaling toxic gas, and were treated in the field.
The association also reported that a young man sustained bruises all over his body as a result of the occupation soldiers assaulting him with beatings and rifle butts, and he was transferred to the hospital.
A local source reported that an occupation army force attacked citizens' homes in the "Umm Rakba" area in the town, where they fired live and rubber-coated metal bullets, sound bombs and tear gas, which led to the injury of a number of citizens.
The source added that the occupation soldiers assaulted citizens and chased young men in the streets and neighborhoods of the town.
The occupation forces arrested citizen Fawaz Ali Khader Salah (57 years old), after raiding his home and assaulting his wife and his two sons, Khaled and Mohammed.
