The Hebrew Channel Kan reported, on Friday evening, that a meeting was held on Wednesday between Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the negotiating team in the exchange deal, and witnessed a state of tension between the two sides.
According to the channel, Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar has made clear criticism of Netanyahu's behavior due to the changes he is constantly making to the outline presented to the mediators regarding the deal.
Mossad chief Didi Barnea said: There is a deal. If we delay, we might miss the opportunity. We must seize it.
One of the negotiating team members told Netanyahu to his face: Your proposal regarding the Netzarim axis will lead to the collapse of the deal. We have agreed to a proposal in which the axis will be dealt with differently.
According to the channel, the negotiations are scheduled to be completed next week with a delegation heading to Cairo.
