Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi threatened, on Friday evening, to repeat the attack that took place in the southern suburb of Beirut, which targeted Fouad Shukr, one of the leaders of the Lebanese Hezbollah.
Halevy said during a tour in which he inspected his forces on the Netzarim axis in the central Gaza Strip, “Our message has reached the entire Middle East... We are prepared to go far and bring accurate intelligence, killing and harm.”
He added: We attacked Beirut and we are attacking in Gaza, and we will be very strong in defense and we will attack with great force.
He pointed out that his forces will continue the war and fighting in Gaza until their goals are achieved.
