Iranian media published a photo of the building in which the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, was staying in Tehran, which was bombed.
The building where Haniyeh and his bodyguard were assassinated is a guest house located inside a closed Revolutionary Guards complex north of Tehran.
In the photo, part of the building appeared to be covered with a huge piece of cloth, and it is believed that the purpose of this was to hide the damage it sustained after the bombing.
Iranian media reported that Haniyeh was killed at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Tehran time, and was staying at a "special residence" for war veterans in the north of the capital.
Nour News Agency, affiliated with the Supreme National Security Council in Iran, said that Haniyeh's residence was hit by an airborne missile, targeting Haniyeh personally.
