Britain condemns Israeli raids near schools and 'safe areas' in Gaza

The British government has strongly condemned the raids carried out by the Israeli occupation forces near schools and "safe areas" in the Gaza Strip.

The British Foreign and Commonwealth Office said on its X account on Wednesday that "reports of civilian casualties in Khan Yunis and across Gaza are horrific."

The ministry stressed that the speech of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Development, David Lamy, was clear: “We need an immediate ceasefire and protection of Palestinian civilians.”
