The Minister of National Security in the Israeli occupation government, Itamar Ben Gvir, said, “The Palestinians must suffer from overcrowding in our prisons.”
Ben Gvir added that his government established 2,000 cells and 5,000 Palestinians from Gaza were admitted to prisons.
Ben Gvir claimed before the Knesset on Monday that he would work to give Palestinian prisoners the least rights afforded to them by law.
He pointed out that the density in prisons will remain the same despite the objection of the government's legal advisor.
Earlier, the Palestinian Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority reported that Netanyahu, searching for a victory, will not find it in prison and in violating the rights of detainees.
The Commission added in a statement that there is an international partnership to remain silent about the crimes committed against Palestinian prisoners.
