Medical sources reported, on Tuesday evening, that at least 20 Palestinians were killed in the occupation bombing of Al Awda schools in the Abasan Al Kabira area, east of the city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said in a statement: “A school housing displaced persons was targeted in the Abasan area, east of Khan Yunis, causing dozens of injuries and a number of dead.”
It added: "The association's ambulance crews are still working to evacuate the injured who are being transferred to Nasser and Al-Amal hospitals in the city."
