Health in Gaza warns that hospitals will stop working within 48 hours

The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip warned today, Sunday, that the remaining hospitals, health centers and oxygen stations will stop working within 48 hours.

The Ministry confirmed in a statement that this was the result of running out of fuel needed to operate the generators, despite the harsh and austerity measures taken by the Ministry to preserve the remaining quantities of fuel for the longest possible period in light of the lack of supply of the quantities necessary for operation.

The Ministry of Health appeals to all concerned, international and humanitarian institutions to intervene quickly to bring in the necessary fuel, in addition to the electric generators and spare parts needed for maintenance.
