Canada announced, Thursday, that it had imposed sanctions on 7 individuals and 5 entities for their role in facilitating, supporting, or financially contributing to acts of violence by Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians in the occupied West Bank.
The Canadian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, in a statement, “The new sanctions include 7 individuals and 5 entities for their role in facilitating, supporting, or financially contributing to acts of violence carried out by extremist Israeli settlers against Palestinian civilians and their property in the West Bank.”
The statement explained that "the violence of extremist settlers led to loss of life and damage to Palestinian property and agricultural lands."
