Thousands of Israelis demonstrated on Saturday in the city of Tel Aviv, demanding the conclusion of an exchange deal with the Palestinian factions and the holding of early elections.
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth said that thousands of Israelis participated in the central demonstration organized weekly in Kaplan Square in central Tel Aviv, where they demanded an immediate prisoner exchange deal that would lead to the release of detainees in Gaza.
The demonstration is expected to expand in Tel Aviv, and demonstrations will be held in other cities and regions of the country during the following hours.
