UNRWA reported today that 150,000 people fled the city of Rafah, indicating that the Israeli army issued evacuation orders for new areas towards the center.
For its part, Israeli Army Radio indicated that the calls for evacuation from additional areas come after the cabinet’s decision to expand operations in Rafah.
The radio reported that the army was expanding instructions to evacuate Palestinians in Rafah towards the west.
