President of the UN General Assembly: Nothing justifies the “reckless” attack on Rafah

The President of the United Nations General Assembly, Denis Francis, stressed that nothing justifies the “reckless attack” on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.

In his post on the “X” platform, he warned against launching any Israeli military operation against the city of Rafah, which is inhabited by more than a million displaced people.

Francis added that launching a ground operation east of Rafah would cause more humanitarian disasters.

He continued: I say it frankly, nothing justifies the reckless attack on Rafah, which will lead to more humanitarian disasters.
