The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf Al-Qudra, said on Thursday, “The Israeli army is deliberately destroying the health system in the Gaza and northern regions,” noting that the ministry has lost medical personnel who formed the backbone of services in the oncology and kidney specializations.
He explained in a statement today, Thursday, that more than 730,000 people in Gaza and its north are without real health services, stressing that the destruction of the Shifa Medical Complex constituted a devastating blow to the health system in Gaza.
Al-Qudra said: “Gaza currently needs surgical field hospitals with a capacity of 200 beds and including operating rooms and intensive care.”
