Netanyahu: Israel will not submit to Hamas’ demands

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office said it insists that "Israel will not yield to Hamas's imaginary demands."

Netanyahu added, "There is no new proposal from Hamas in Cairo regarding the detainees agreement, and only a change in its position will allow progress to occur."

For its part, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Netanyahu decided not to send the negotiating delegation to Cairo without the knowledge of the two ministers in the Israeli War Council, Benny Gantz and Gadi Eisenkot.
