Trooper repeated the talk about the two central Israeli goals of the war on Gaza, which are the return of detainees and the elimination of Hamas rule, but he added that “the return of the kidnapped is more urgent. Both are important, but it is possible to target Hamas the day after tomorrow as well as the next month, and by the way it should be said in the first place that this war is expected to "It lasts for months and years. According to Trooper, "We see what is happening there and we hear from the returnees what the conditions are. He added, "There is one thing that I will definitely not agree to, which is stopping the war, that is, ending the war."
He said, "We realize that the next stage (of the prisoner exchange) will be complicated, but we believe it is possible, and we certainly believe that we must do everything in our power to bring them home.
