A member of the Hamas political bureau, Musa Abu Marzouk, said on Wednesday that Hamas will release a number of detainees of Russian nationality, outside the framework of the exchange agreement with Israel, which requires the movement to release ten Israeli detainees.
Abu Marzouk added, in his account on the “X” platform: “To date, none of the Israeli men have been released in Gaza, except for Ronnie Krivoy, who is of Russian origin, as a result of the movement’s appreciation for the positions of President Vladimir Putin.”
He continued: "Today, others will be released outside the deal, in appreciation of President Putin's commendable positions."
