The Prisoners and Ex-Prisoners Affairs Authority announced today, Tuesday, that the prisoner in the Zionist “Megiddo” prison, whose death was announced yesterday, is Abd al-Rahman Ahmad Muhammad Mar’i (33 years old) from the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, northwest of the city of Salfit, in the northern West Bank.
“Prisoners’ Affairs” said in a statement: The prisoner “Marhi” was arrested on February 25, 2023, and is still detained (no judgment has been issued against him). He is married, the father of 4 children, and the brother of the martyr Muhammad Marhi.
It confirmed that “what the dead Marhi was subjected to is a new, premeditated assassination. The occupation not only assassinated him, but has refused to reveal his identity since yesterday, and according to what the lawyer informed, the occupation will conduct an autopsy on his body.”
