Haaretz: In an outrageous incident: Israeli soldiers force Palestinian women to strip naked!

The Hebrew newspaper, Haaretz, reported, on Monday, that an Israeli military force forced 5 Palestinian women to strip naked inside their home, after storming it in Hebron.

According to the newspaper, 50 soldiers stormed the house of the "A" family (we reserve the right to reveal the family's name), in the southern neighborhood of Hebron, on the tenth of last July, at 1:30 in the morning of that day, and the soldiers were accompanied by sniffer dogs. .

According to the newspaper, under the threat of using sniffer dogs to devour the bodies of the Palestinian women, they were forced in front of their children to strip naked in front of the Israeli soldiers.

In the aftermath of the psychologically traumatic incident for the family members, it was revealed that the soldiers stole gold jewelry and money from the house.

The women's family went to an Israeli police station in Kiryat Arba settlement and denied the theft, before they were contacted the next day and asked to receive the gold, which the soldiers allegedly thought was bullet ammunition, while the money was not returned.

The newspaper published full details of the painful night that the family lived through.

Manal Al-Jabari, a human rights activist in the Israeli left-wing B'Tselem organization, says that she has recently documented 20 such cases, and there is a clear increase in forcing Palestinian women to strip naked at gunpoint and using sniffer dogs.

Al-Ja'bari indicated that the Palestinian women who were subjected to this experience refuse to be interviewed and talk about it, but the members of this family who were exposed to this incident spoke in detail about what happened.

Al-Quds apologizes for publishing the details of that painful night, due to the tragic reality that women who have been traumatized so far have been exposed to.

The Israeli army claimed that the operation aimed to search for a weapon found inside the house, and it was necessary to conduct the search, which took place in a separate room without the use of any cameras.

Biden advisor McGurk to meet Senior Palestinian Delegation in Riyadh

Riyadh hosts senior officials at the White House and State Department in the same week that senior Palestinian officials visit the Saudi capital to discuss the high-stakes agreement.

According to the Times of Israel website, a delegation of senior American officials is scheduled to travel to Riyadh this week to meet with their Saudi counterparts to discuss a possible normalization agreement between the Gulf kingdom and Israel.

The visit by White House Coordinator for the Middle East Brett McGurk and Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara A. Leaf comes just over a month after US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan visited Saudi Arabia with the same goal, indicating Washington's continued determination to mediate a solution. An elusive agreement. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken also visited Riyadh on the same mission in June.

The visit of McGurk and Leaf coincides with the visit of a Palestinian delegation headed by the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization, Hussein Al-Sheikh, who will be in Riyadh to discuss what Ramallah hopes to gain from the Saudi-Israeli normalization agreement, according to the two officials.

Saudi Arabia is willing to abandon its long-held public position against normalization with Israel in the absence of a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, but Riyadh is still not expected to agree to an agreement with Israel that does not include significant progress toward Palestinian sovereignty, according to officials familiar with the matter.

Last week, three officials told The Times of Israel that the Palestinian Authority is seeking “irreversible” steps that would advance its statehood efforts in the context of negotiations for a normalization agreement between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

The proposed steps include US support for the recognition of the Palestinian state in the United Nations, reopening its consulate in Jerusalem that has historically served the Palestinians, repealing legislation in Congress that considers the Palestinian Authority a terrorist organization, transferring lands in the West Bank from Israeli to Palestinian sovereignty, and demolishing illegal settlement outposts in West Bank.

These steps would be major victories for the Palestinian Authority, which has enjoyed few diplomatic achievements in recent years. However, it is a far cry from the far-reaching demands that Ramallah has long raised, highlighting its diminishing political standing at home and abroad.

Al-Sheikh discussed the measures with Leaf, the US Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, during a meeting last week, and received a largely lukewarm response, according to a Palestinian official.

Biden administration officials rejected Palestinian proposals regarding the United States, encouraging the Palestinian Authority to moderate its requests and direct them toward Israel instead.

But any major initiatives for the Palestinians are almost certain to be opposed by some in Netanyahu's hard-line government. Last week, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich said that the idea of Israel making concessions to the Palestinians as part of a normalization agreement is a “fantasy.”

While the agreement is expected to include a Palestinian component, the bulk of Saudi demands are directed at the United States, and the focus has been on the negotiations so far between the Biden administration and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Riyadh is seeking to conclude a mutual security treaty similar to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), obligating the United States to defend Saudi Arabia if the latter is attacked, and to have a civilian nuclear program supported by the United States in Saudi Arabia, and to have the ability to purchase more advanced weapons from Washington.

In return, the United States is looking forward to Riyadh significantly reducing its economic and military relations with China and Russia and strengthening the truce that ended the civil war in Yemen.

Any new US treaty with Saudi Arabia will require the support of two-thirds of the Senate, a daunting task given Republicans' reluctance to give Biden a foreign policy victory and concern among Democrats about Riyadh's human rights record.

"Prisoner's Club" holds occupation responsible for the fate of the detainee, Hanan Al-Barghouti

The Prisoner's Club held the occupation authorities fully responsible for the fate of the detainee Hanan Saleh Al-Barghouti (59 years old), the sister of the captive leader Nael Al-Barghouti, who was arrested at dawn this day from the town of Kobar in Ramallah.

The Prisoner's Club said that the arrest of Al-Barghouti comes in the context of a systematic retaliation and (collective punishment) against the Barghouti family, which the occupation has been targeting for decades.

The detainee, Al-Barghouti, is the sister of Commander Nael Al-Barghouti, who spent a total of more than (43) years in the occupation prisons, and she is the sister of the struggling leader Omar Al-Barghouti, may God have mercy on him, who spent a total of more than 30 years in the occupation prisons. (Barghouti), who was recently targeted by the occupation with administrative detention, and she is the aunt of the martyr Saleh Al-Barghouti, who was killed by the occupation bullets in 2018, and the heroic prisoner, Asim Al-Barghouti.

The Prisoner's Club added that the detainee, Barghouti, had recently received several threats from the occupation, during the raids that took place on her house several times, and she was also denied a visit to her captive brother, Barghouti, as part of the targeting process.

It is worth mentioning that the Barghouti family is one of the most prominent families fighting against the occupation, which has sacrificed and continues to do so.

The prisoners' decision to strike requires expanding the circle of solidarity with them

Al-Quds op-ed

Al-Quds op-ed

Opinion Writer

The captive movement's decision to go on a hunger strike, starting Thursday, the fourteenth of this month, in response to the extremist and racist decision of the Israeli Minister of National Security, is a valid decision. Although it is the last weapon possessed by the captive movement in the struggle to preserve its gains, which it achieved through huge sacrifices during which many of them were martyred, and many of them were infected with chronic diseases, they were able to achieve achievements on several levels. The most important of which is the continuation of university studies, the submission of the Tawjihi, the introduction of cultural and scientific books and many others, both in terms of improving the conditions of life inside prisons, although this improvement does not meet the minimum internationally recognized conditions that the occupying state ignores.

We say that the decision to go on a hunger strike is correct and appropriate, despite its danger to the health of the prisoners if it is implemented and the intransigence of the racist Minister of National Security Ben Gvir. Because any success achieved by this racist minister's decision will be a prelude to other decisions against the captive movement, which is living in difficult conditions as a result of the various measures he has taken since he became the decision regarding the prisons in which the prisoners of freedom are held.

It is true that the prisoners of freedom thwarted last February the decisions and measures taken by Ben Gvir against them and their families. However, this extremist comes out from time to time with measures and decisions against the prisoners. He even proposed the execution of many of them under various allegations. This led the captive movement to take its decision to go on hunger strike in response to his decision to reduce visits to prisoners from one month to two months in an attempt to break the will of the captive movement, but it will fail in that as it failed last February.

What is happening inside Israel of opposition to this decision, whether by the prisons authority or by Prime Minister Netanyahu himself, but that does not mean that the Israeli opposition circles are not with the decision. Rather, it opposes it in terms of timing, but everyone is against the captive movement, and against giving any facilities as stipulated in international laws and norms. Rather, everyone's goal is to try to undermine the steadfastness of the prisoners, who, through their unity and steadfastness, have achieved achievements that Ben Ghafir and others are trying to attack. However, he did not succeed in the face of the captive movement's insistence on continuing the struggle in order to preserve what it has achieved and what it will achieve later, despite the nose of Ben Ghafir and others.

Hence, despite the opposition in Israel to the decision of this extremist and racist minister, Ben Gvir instructed the prison authorities and the police to start implementing the decision as of yesterday. As well as his previous decision to stop the release of prisoners before the end of their sentences, which is implemented by prison administrations, due to overcrowding in prisons, which includes light sentences, and some of them were released only two or three months ago.

In front of that, the Palestinian side represented by the authority, factions, forces, human rights organizations and prisoners, as well as the masses of our people, must work towards the broadest measures of solidarity with the captive movement that sacrificed its freedom for the freedom of its people, and not leave them to wage the struggle against the extremist and racist Ben Gvir alone.

The support of the prisoners and their support by everyone, along with their struggle, will fail the measures taken by Ben Gvir and other Israeli ministers and extremists and the administrations of the occupation prisons.

Palestine, the Gordon complex, and the Alexander sword!!

Dr. Naji Sadeq Shurab

Dr. Naji Sadeq Shurab

Opinion Writer

The situation that the Palestinian cause has reached at all levels is similar to what is known as the Gordon complex, and it may even have surpassed it by turning it into a component of the Gordon complex. We are facing a unique and exceptional example of international issues and crises. Since the Palestinian issue arose more than 75 years ago, it has turned into more knots that are difficult to solve and untie.

The Palestinian issue is one of the complex and extended issues that consist of endless knots. Rather, knots regenerate with the passage of time and not be eradicated from their roots. Returning to the origin and emergence of the Palestinian cause, which is the first important step in eradicating its main node, here is also the question about whose sword do we need? The principle in the Palestinian issue is to prevent the establishment of a state on the land of Palestine that brings together all of its Arabs and Jews, and this is due to a common desire and interest between the Zionist movement and imperialism, which was led by Britain, in the establishment of a Jewish nation-state exclusively for the Jews, as stated in the first Zionist Congress in 1897, which stipulated the establishment of this Jewish state.

And instead of the British Alexander sword working to eradicate the problem and working for the establishment of a Palestinian state for all its citizens, he worked to eradicate the Palestinian component to establish this state, which was established in accordance with UN Resolution 197 and at that time Europe and America controlled the international organization, and to begin with the establishment of this state, the emergence of the Palestinian issue with the Gordon complex and the multiplicity of its components and levels.

The sword of Alexander turned to the United States, which suspended him and controlled the complexities of the issue by not allowing from the first day the establishment of a Palestinian state and working towards joint solutions such as a confederal or federal solution on the land of Palestine, and by encouraging joint projects to present a new model for a state based on coexistence and one citizenship. Israel entered its wars, the first of which was the 1948 war, to highlight the refugee complex by displacing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refugees to live in diaspora, the file of Jerusalem, dividing it and then controlling it, and the file of the non-establishment of a Palestinian state, and the continuation of the war option and the entry of Arab countries into it, starting with the 1948 war, then 1956, then the 1967 war, which according to which Israel occupied all the Palestinian lands and Arab lands, and to highlight the Arab-Israeli complex.

In addition to this knot, there was the international knot and the disruption of all international legitimacy resolutions and the protection of Israel with the American veto. The Gordon complex became more entangled and complicated to the point where any solution would be difficult, as evidenced by the failure of all negotiations and partial settlement attempts to disrupt Alexander’s sword, which is controlled by the United States. With a microscopic political analysis of the issue to know the exponent of the Gordon knot, we first find the heart of the knot on both sides of the conflict, Israel and Palestine.

Today, we find the Israeli Gordon complex represented by the current government, which embodies the summit and peak of the alliance between religious and national Zionism, by forming the most extremist government in Israel, which rejects any form of settlement of the Palestinian issue and an absolute refusal to accept the Palestinian state. And in the Jordan Valley, to complete the settlement circle, close the Jerusalem file completely, and not be ready to discuss the refugee file. On the other hand, the complex on the Palestinian level is represented in the political division, which has turned into a structure rooted in a political vision that is governed by ideological contradictions between Hamas and Fatah, and the absence of a national vision to deal with the Palestinian issue.

Gordon’s Palestinian complex is summarized in the disagreement over the issue itself, and in the weakness of the Palestinian variable and its role in the political decision and the impact of variables. And external influences, which increases the complex of decision and agreement.

The knot extends to the Arab level and in the directions of peace with Israel and the decline of the issue as one of the components of Arab national security, which also no longer exists in the priority of national security for each country, and in the disintegration options that Arab countries are exposed to, and the issue turns into mere economic and political support.

And internationally, and here lies the mother of the contract, that the issue is no longer an international issue with international priorities and concerns in front of the increasing international issues and in front of the transformations of the international system, and the Ukrainian war in its international dimension. And the monopoly of the United States until now on the sword of Alexander, who is able to resolve the issue, and the ineffectiveness and influence of other international actors preoccupied with its issues.

Returning to the nature of the issue, activating the sword of alexander remains dependent on activating the Palestinian variable and restoring the issue to its international status. This requires activating the Arab variable and Palestine and linking the peace process to the settlement of the issue and the establishment of the Palestinian state, which constitutes the basic node in which all nodes constituting the issue may be dismantled and the sword of Alexander turned into the Arab hand that is capable of removing the knot from its roots through the establishment of the Palestinian state.

The struggle against occupation

Hamada Pharaohs

Hamada Pharaohs

Within 48 hours, the outcome of the Palestinian resistance action was as follows:

A run over attack in Hebron, a stabbing attack in Jerusalem and a soldier injured, a bomb attack in Nablus and a soldier injured, a trampling operation in Ramallah and 4 soldiers injured.

The settlement's finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, from the site of the Ramallah operation, said: "We are burying Israelis every day. We must change this fate."

The Palestinians most likely targeted settlers in the second occupation zones in 1967, and since the beginning of this year 28 Israelis have been killed.

The Palestinians, along with the Arabs, Muslims, Christians, and all the forces of peace, goodness, and dignity, call the work of the Palestinians a legitimate resistance action sanctioned by international law and laws, and the Israelis call the Palestinian resistance action a "terrorism" carried out by "terrorists."

The fundamental question that flows and imposes itself upon the killing of every Israeli, and the martyrdom of every Palestinian, against the background of the action: the resistance fighter or the terrorist, what is the reason?? Is the Palestinian desire for martyrdom, or their desire to kill the other, just for the sake of martyrdom and getting rid of life, just for killing the Israeli out of hatred, hatred or racism??.

What is happening in Palestine is caused by: one reason: the occupation, and its colonial, Israeli, Zionist, and Jewish expansionist project, which is based on expansion, expulsion, displacement, and harm to the rights and lives of the Palestinians on the land of their homeland, which they have no homeland other than: Palestine.

Since the beginning of this year, 28 Israelis have been killed, and 218 Palestinians have been killed or martyred since the beginning of this year, including 34 children. Who is the criminal?? Who is the aggressor? Who owns the means of killing?? And confiscating and plundering the land and expelling its owners to the void, to the unknown?? Who occupied the land of the other?? From which country are the Netanyahu family, Smotrich, Ben Gvir, their families, and the overwhelming majority of Israeli settlers?? There is no doubt that they are from outside Palestine, while we do not find a Palestinian in areas 48 or areas 67 except that he was born from a father, grandfather, and a family of Palestinians on the land of Palestine!!

So what are the motives for the resistance action, the jihadi action, the multi-form struggle and the tools, metaphorically the "terrorist" action??.

The motives of the whole work are the occupation, the violence of the occupation, the confiscation of the right of the Palestinian Arab, the Muslim, the Druze Christian, the confiscation of his right to life, dignity and independence, the restoration of the freedom of the homeland, the human being, and the end of the historical injustice that befell the Arab-Palestinian person since the Balfour Declaration to give the homeland of the Palestinians to the Zionist movement and the Jewish Agency And to the settlers who came as settler invaders to Palestine or fleeing from the Nazism and fascism of the Europeans to occupy and colonize the homeland of the Palestinians, and even added to that the occupation of the Syrian Golan, its confiscation and annexation, and its annexation to the map of the colony with land from southern Lebanon.

With the end of the occupation, the disappearance of the phenomena of colonization, the return of Palestinian refugees from refugee camps and displacement outside Palestine, and the Palestinians obtaining their right to independence on the land of their homeland, the resistance work ends, the terrorist act ends: do they understand??.

"Saudi moment"

Dr.. Abdel Moneim Said

Dr.. Abdel Moneim Said

Opinion Writer

The expression used by Professor Muhammad Hassanein Heikal in the mid-seventies of the last century was the “Saudi era” to denote the status that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia had reached in the Middle East. The Kingdom had achieved its position through a package of elements that gathered the world’s discovery that oil has become a pivotal commodity for the modern era, with all its mechanization in the civil and military industries, and more than that, oil is concentrated in the Gulf region, and Saudi Arabia is at the forefront of it in production and reserves that guarantee this production for decades to come.

OPEC had become a tight organization capable of managing supply and demand for the important commodity. As for “OAPEC”, which constitutes the Arab version of the mother organization, it rolled up its sleeves to use the “oil weapon” during the October 1973 war. The meeting of oil with Arab blood in one battle made the world talk about whether there was a birth of an important Arab pole . This did not happen at the time, but what was recorded globally is that the Middle East is no longer what it used to be. Especially since oil prices and its financial returns have become part of the movement of money and the global economy. The “Saudi era” was an expression of the high coefficient of influence and influence in the region, which absorbed much of the international attention that the East Asian region was in, as the Vietnamese war affected it.

The “Saudi moment” is different from that in some matters, but in another way it is an extension of it. If dr. Abd al-Khaliq Abdullah, a professor of political science, has already published in more than one context of his work on the “Gulf Moment” announcing the progress achieved by the entire Arab Gulf region, with a special focus on the United Arab Emirates. In both cases, there was a comparison with other Arab countries that preceded the field of modernity, such as Egypt, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon, which were full of representation of Arabs and Arabism during previous decades. And the moment here defines her with that state of enlightenment that accompanies the cinematic stories and novels, at which time the complex of the artistic work is loosened. In history, the “Enlightenment” was an expression of European salvation from the coma of underdevelopment and the tyranny of the Church, and reliance on reason, science and logic. And lighting if it's time to change it. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always had a special place in the Arab and Islamic worlds. Because it - and there is no other - has the protection and service of the Two Holy Mosques in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah, with their love and sacred status among Islamic nations and peoples. Certainly, oil added to this grant a great deal of influence in light of the developments that took place globally beginning in the seventies of the last century.

The “Saudi Moment” expresses a big leap after the above. Because it was deficient in the strong conservatism that characterized the kingdom, which characterized its political and social performance, and in its totality and by virtue of the religious leadership produced generations of Arab and Muslim followers in this direction. What happened during the previous ten years, and perhaps since King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, may God have mercy on him, took over the leadership of the country is that education in the Kingdom took another progressive path. It was from him to send a lot of missions and in large numbers for knowledge in developed countries. This was similar to what happened in Egypt at the beginning of the nineteenth century. The qualitative shift, and the great moment of enlightenment, took place in 2015 when King Salman bin Abdulaziz assumed power, and with him Prince Muhammad bin Salman assumed the mandate of the Covenant. Within 8 years, Saudi Arabia has entered another historical phase, and with it, the Arab region has taken to new horizons of progress.

The “Saudi Moment” portal was modernity, which by definition means a qualitative shift in 4 criteria: the first is identity, so that it is deeper, more spacious and comprehensive; the second is to penetrate the territory of the state; Where there is nothing in it that is far from reaching and dealing with it; The third is to mobilize the resources available in the country, and raise its productivity and participation in the global market. The fourth is the participation of the largest number of people in dealing with the processes of change taking place in society and the state. All of the above dimensions of modernity are known in human history as the “reform” process, which is similar to what happened in Europe, the period that followed the Middle Ages. Perhaps it was no coincidence that the Crown Prince mentioned in more than one press interview that the Saudis and their peers among the Arab "reformers" will form the new Europe in the world.

The national state was the broad title of the modern Saudi identity, and thus it is deep in the depth of the entire history before and after Islam, which did not come to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to find a civilized vacuum. Historical discoveries confirmed this with the emergence of kingdoms and monuments testifying to the human and civilized existence. Penetrating the territory of the state and, within a short period, paving the way for roads and opening airports and ports, and express trains ran to link the east of the state with its west, and its north with its south, perhaps during the shortest period known to history.

On an area of two million square kilometers, and the long coastlines on the Red Sea, the Gulf of Aqaba and the Arabian Gulf, “diversifying sources of income” is no longer a seasonal Gulf slogan, but rather a reality in which Saudi Arabia topped the Arab countries in the fields of industry and tourism and even found agriculture in a desert country. The Saudi participation began with the highly educated Saudi youth, whether they were men or women, Sunnis or Shiites, and this took place in light of a revolutionary renewal in religious thought that gives great appreciation for the energies of reason, choice, ambition, readiness to build, and the participation of his brother in man. A common human experience. The “Saudi moment” did not only concern Saudi Arabia, but the Arab region and the world as well.

The international system recognized in the field of political science and international relations is witnessing a unipolar system in a state of radical transformation, which began in 2008, the year that witnessed the collapse of the US real estate market, which in turn produced the global financial crisis in 2009, as it also produced in the same context and in an inconclusive manner. There is no indication of a state of chaos in the Middle East that began in 2011 with the outbreak of the wave of what was known as the Arab Spring or the blood decade.

And while the Russian-Atlantic war that broke out more than a year and a half ago on the territory of Ukraine accelerated the pace of this transformation, the old “unipolar system” did not completely fall and disappear, and it faces a decisive decade according to Biden’s national security strategy that he published in October 2022. In the foreword, it was mentioned that the intense competition for leadership of the global system between Washington and its partners on the one hand, and China and its allies on the other hand, may turn into a fierce conflict.

Likewise, the desired (multi-polar) system has not yet stood on its feet, although its foundations seem to be getting more and more solid, especially since there is almost a consensus among all the components and individuals of the international system, that the desired new system will certainly be more just and more capable of achieving stability, peace and security for the world. The specifications and goals that the unipolar system has not succeeded in achieving since the United States dominated it in the wake of the end of the Cold War in 1991, which was clearly evident in the final statement of the last BRICS summit that took place in Johannesburg on 8/24/2023.

As for the regional system in the Middle East, which was established after World War II, and became an exclusive American sphere of influence after the end of the Cold War, it did not collapse completely, and on the other hand, it is witnessing a new formation in which new powers and players emerge, and it is no longer a secret to any of the observers that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is The most prominent of these players is absolutely due to its religious and economic status, and most importantly because it has stayed away from targeting the Arab Spring, which weakened traditional players in the region.

It seems here that the main powers in the Middle East, which is considered the center of the Arab world and the heart of the Islamic world (both Sunni and Shiite), seek that the Middle East not be an arena in which its regional powers engage to play the role of agents in competition that may turn into a heated struggle between the great powers, as was the case. During the Cold War, which witnessed the declaration of the establishment of Israel in the region in 1948, and the Palestinian Nakba, which is considered a continuous crime. It also witnessed more than ten fierce wars between Israel on the one hand and the regular armies of the Arab countries neighboring Palestine on the other hand, in addition to witnessing the outbreak of two major Palestinian uprisings. Against the Zionist occupation of Palestine, and most importantly, it witnessed the birth of the Palestinian national movement represented by the Palestine Liberation Organization.

It was remarkable in this regard that the Arab countries had announced through their leaders, which was reflected in the full statement of the Arab summit that was held in Jeddah in May of this year, that the Middle East will not be a tail zone in the global system that has come a long way in formation, and in exchange for Therefore, these countries, along with other major (Islamic) forces in the region, see that the region possesses natural, human and cultural resources that qualify it to be an active pole in the new international order.

In this regard, the well-known Russian thinker and philosopher (Alexander Dugin) wrote in an article titled (Seven-Polar World) in which he reads the meanings and implications of the BRICS summit and its results, published by the (Russia Geopolitical) website on 8/30/2023, explaining that the new world order It will be made up of seven cultures and civilizations: the West, which includes the European Union, the United States of America, China, India, Russia, Africa, Latin America, and the Islamic world in its two editions (Sunni and Shiite).

Dugin added in his article that by announcing the accession of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt and the UAE to the BRICS group, the building on which the new world order will be has been completed, which means that the West, which has dominated the global system since the end of World War II, will not be able to continue to dominate the world. The rest of the civilizations and cultures of human society.

And since there is a close relationship between the (successes) of the Western Zionist colonial project in Palestine and the transformations of the international system, the foregoing shows that the strategic environment surrounding both the Zionist movement (Israel) and the Palestinian national movement (PLO) is different from the strategic environment that surrounded them during The previous three times of the transformations of the international system, it is legitimate to ask, will the new system do justice to the Palestinians and lift the injustice that resulted from its previous transformations? Will it provide the Palestinians with international protection and prevent a new catastrophe against them that the current government of Israel threatens day and night? Will Netanyahu be allowed to revive the idea of a Palestinian state, as he recently stated? Will he allow Netanyahu, along with Smotrich and Ben Gvir, to resolve the conflict with the Palestinians and complete the creation of the State of Israel as an exclusively Jewish state in the region?

While the closing statement of the BRICS summit provided theoretical answers to some of these questions, as it expressed the group's adherence to the two-state solution and the establishment of a sovereign Palestinian state, and called on the international community to support direct negotiations on the basis of international law, including the resolutions of the Security Council and the General Assembly of the United Nations, as well as the peace initiative. He also expressed the group's concern about the deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Palestine resulting from the escalation of violence in light of the ongoing occupation and the expansion of illegal settlements. However, the question of questions remains whether the new regime will continue to turn a blind eye to Israel's crimes against the Palestinians, especially after it has been proven to be a separate state. Racist (apartheid) must be punished? Will the new regime force Israel to abide by international legitimacy and its resolutions? Will he force her to implement these decisions?

On the other hand, will the Palestinians succeed in investing in the opportunities provided to them this time by the transformations of the international system? Will they succeed in preventing the Zionist movement, with its neo-Zionist nature, from completing the implementation of its settlement-colonial project in Palestine, which has been proven to have failed on the ground so far? And what should they do to push the new regime to elevate its rhetoric to the level of actions? Especially since the new international order will not be more royal than the king!

In fact, the Palestinians have no choice but to succeed, because lack of success simply means that the Palestinians will remain under occupation for decades to come, awaiting another new transformation in the international system, and most importantly, success requires belief in the ability to achieve success, and this requires defining the meaning of success first, and then developing indicators to measure it second. Finally, knowing who are among the Palestinians who are destined to raise the banner of victory and success at this moment in time, and where should they be positioned in this stormy sea with choppy waves? And what are the decisive weapons that they must possess that guarantee them the achievement of a resounding victory? What is the decisive battlefield of the conflict in which they have to invest most of their resources and energies? What is their speech to the Palestinian people, who have the right to know what is happening and why? Then what is their speech to the Arab and Islamic nations, and behind them the international community, especially the Jewish communities, whether those supporting racist Israel and apartheid, or demanding its overthrow as an apartheid and apartheid state?

Abraham's "Approach Between Bragging... and Cloudy Calculations"

Nabil Amr

Nabil Amr

Opinion Writer

The Arab countries that normalized their relations with Israel, according to the Abraham plan devised by the administration of former US President Donald Trump, and confirmed by the administration of current President Joe Biden, succeeded in establishing and maintaining bilateral relations with Israel, but it did not positively affect the Palestinian cause. Since entering through this door, until today, and for an indefinite period, things have deteriorated on the Palestinian-Israeli track, and become complicated, if not impossible, in terms of chances for a settlement.

In the time of Madrid-Oslo, the parties to the conflict unanimously agreed that the Palestinian issue is the basis, and if the world desires to achieve a Middle Eastern settlement, it is the beginning, and through its solution, the end of the Arab-Israeli conflict will be automatic and inevitable.

Abraham's approach turned on this basis, and with the stroke of a pen at the hands of a problematic American president, the following happened:

Granting the Golan Heights to Israel.

recognized Jerusalem as its capital.

- He promised the Palestinians a small village in its vicinity called "Abu Dis", which would be their capital, from which a corridor would lead to the holy places of prayer.

- On top of that, Israel was granted, on a specific map, more than thirty percent of the West Bank lands, which do not exceed six thousand square kilometers, with a connection between the places that were specified for the Palestinians, either by “piercing” the land with tunnels, or avoiding it with suspension bridges.

- Thus, according to Trump, the strangest and most amazing entity on earth was born. Netanyahu volunteered to allow its residents to call it an empire if they liked.

In the time of Madrid-Oslo, the parties to the conflict unanimously agreed that the Palestinian cause is the basis, and if the world desires to achieve a Middle Eastern settlement, it is the beginning, and through its solution, the end of the Arab-Israeli conflict will be automatic and inevitable.

Abraham's approach was tested at many turns, and the result was that bilateral relations, with all the colored paper covers they were wrapped in, did not change the depth of popular hostility to the Israeli occupation. What happened in the World Cup in Qatar was a shorthand model with strong rhetoric and significance.

This and Abraham's approach is still in its infancy. As for the first road to Sudan, it became clear to the normalizers that the hopes that were pinned on Israel as a passage to America and the West were dashed, and that the antidote that normalization would bring did not arrive and will not arrive!

Between bragging and cheating accounts

I am talking about fragmentary samples, but they carry broader and deeper connotations, except that the last sample that took place was its hero and then its victim, the Libyan Foreign Minister. It presented what can be considered a final picture of Abraham's idea and its applications.

What happened showed very clearly the fall of the normalization approach, "between bragging... and cloudy calculations." So bragging about normalization and exaggerating building on it are the basis of the propaganda that the conflicting forces carry out over governance in Israel by inventing achievements that reap votes every day.

Here we are facing an unconfirmed statement that full normalization with Saudi Arabia is approaching, and statements that more than one Arab and Islamic country is standing in line for normalization. As a result of boasting and internal bidding, Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen hastened to announce the meeting he held with Libyan Foreign Minister Najla al-Manqoush, which was supposed to be secret, to record for himself a historical feat that he thinks portrays him as a "conqueror of the country of the conqueror." By doing this, he pays nothing, but receives everything. It includes money from the Libyan treasury to compensate the Libyan Jews for what they left behind.

The Arab countries that normalized their relations with Israel, according to the Abraham plan that was devised by the administration of former US President Donald Trump, and confirmed by the administration of current President Joe Biden, succeeded in establishing and sustaining bilateral relations with Israel, but it did not positively affect the Palestinian cause.

The Libyan people unanimously rejected what happened, and no one believed the naïve justifications that tried to portray the matter as if it was just a passing meeting that took place by chance. Thus, whoever planned and carried out this meeting fell into the evil of his “ignorance and deceit,” so the minister ended up being dismissed and left the country, normalization ended, and the ostentatious goods were barred. No one in Israel believes what politicians say anymore.

It is no longer in Libya and elsewhere that it facilitates normalization of any kind. What happened with the Libyan Foreign Minister proved that normalization has become a stolen commodity. Whoever did this theft does not know how to hide it, nor how to benefit from it. Rather, it is a losing trade that produced nothing but a scandal.

This frivolous game is still being played in America, with the two main poles, the Republican and the Democratic. Ironically, the Americans, the Israelis, and their accomplices in Libya considered it only a technical error, as Cohen was blamed for his haste in making the announcement.

The minister was smuggled to a safe place from punishment, and there was nothing left for Mr. Blinken, who was still driving Abraham's chariot, except to say, as the Arabs said with defeat: "We lost a battle, but we did not lose a war." What the hasty Cohen and the naïve "Mangoucheh" broke, can be made up for by another attempt with Libya or with others. Let's wait for what the days bring us.

The committee called for real international action to stop this farce, and to put an end to the fascist occupation system, which operates according to the instructions of the extremist Israeli Itamar Ben Gvir, and behind him the political and military components of the occupying state, who all seek to create a complex life inside prisons and detention centers, based on restrictions, punishments and deprivation.

Foreign Ministry: Prisoners' issues are among the priorities of Palestinian international actions

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed that the prisoners' issues receive a priority that befits their struggle and steadfastness in all areas of the international political, diplomatic and legal movement, which the Ministry leads under the directives of President Mahmoud Abbas.

The ministry condemned in the strongest terms, in a statement, this evening, Sunday, the violations and crimes of the Israeli occupation authorities and its various agencies against the heroic prisoners in the occupation prisons, the latest of which was the aggressive and arbitrary measures and decisions taken by the fascist Israeli minister Ben Gvir, especially his decision regarding reducing visits to the families of the prisoners.

The Ministry considered this an extension of the open war of occupation on our people in general and on the heroic prisoners in particular, in flagrant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, the Geneva Conventions, and the signed understandings and agreements, and in an attempt to harm the achievements of the captive movement that it achieved through its long struggle, and did not get it from the favor and generosity of the occupation. .

It held the Israeli government and its prime minister fully and directly responsible for the escalation in the Israeli aggression against the prisoners, warning against the consequences of implementing Ben Gvir's racist fascist decisions.

It called on the international community, the United Nations and its competent bodies and councils, and in the forefront the International Red Cross, to assume their responsibilities in pressuring the Israeli government to stop its oppression of our heroic prisoners, and to take the necessary measures imposed by international law to compel the occupying power to deal with them as prisoners of war, and to release them immediately.

The Ministry confirmed that it and the embassies of the State of Palestine are following up, with direct instructions from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Riyad Al-Maliki, the concerns of the prisoners and their issues at all levels, to expose these violations and mobilize the broadest international front advocating for their cause and their rights to dignity and freedom.
