A pause with the birth of the Seal of the Prophets: when affection and love meet

Written by: Prince Hassan bin Talal

The birth of the Mustafa was not like the birth of all the greats, but rather his birth was the birth of a civilization whose giving extended from Tangier to Jakarta and from Ghana to Fergana. Its scientific and spiritual radiations extended to the surrounding cultures and civilizations.

The genius of the Mustafa is manifested in his ability to combine the lights of gratitude and noble morals, and between mercy, forgiveness, strength and justice.

Al-Mustafa's call did not depend on presenting theoretical reform ideas, but he sought with all his might to establish a just, strong and compassionate human society. His call was a model of “active” faith that combines faith and action, and seeks to purify the soul, build society, dedicate servitude to God, liberate the mind and will, ignite the spirit and motivate determination.

The Chosen One presented to mankind two interrelated models, the first of which was on the individual level, where he was a living example of faith in God and good deeds, striving to reach the corners of the earth and hitting its parts with determination, strength and persistence.

The second model is represented by the humane society established by the Prophet in Medina, which is a model that makes the Muslim more confident in the possibility of advancement, change, and facing the challenges and difficulties that hinder the building and reform of societies.

What we want to evoke from the birth of the Chosen One is to build a “believing personality” that understands reality and its problems and criticizes the erroneous ideas and sayings that people inherit from their parents without contemplating or thinking.

One of the blessings of God upon humanity is that He made the prophets among human beings, walking on earth, eating and drinking, speaking in the language of their people, living, suffering and dying. God sent them to us from ourselves and from within our societies so that they may be a good example for us all. Upon you are the believers, Kind and Merciful} (At-Tawbah: 128) One of the subtle meanings included in the previous verse is what came in the books of interpretation that “he read: from yourselves, from preciousness, that is: from the most honorable and best among you.” And the Almighty said: (Exalted is dear to him what you have) meaning: He is honored by what is difficult for you, and for this reason it came in the hadith: I was sent with the tolerant Hanafis.

Affection and love have come together in one essence, which is the personality of the Chosen One, peace and blessings be upon him. His love is mediated by the love of God Almighty and the love of the pure household, as he, peace and blessings be upon him, says: “Love God for what He nourishes you of His blessings, and love me with the love of God, and love my household with my love.” (Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi ).

The Qur’an teaches us that affection begins with relatives.
O family of the Messenger of God, your love is an obligation from God in the Qur’an that He sent down. It is sufficient for you of great importance that you who do not pray upon you have no prayer.

Among the manifestations of the greatness of the Chosen One is “the universality of his message.” He did not address an ethnic group, national minority, or sectarian group, but rather addressed all people. Therefore, today we find great nationalities that have believed in the message of Islam and followed its teachings, such as the Arabs, Persians, Turks, Kurds, Berbers, and many nationalities in East Asia and Africa, and these All of them represent the “nation of response” who bear the responsibility of calling for faith and the virtues of morals along with the responsibility for the advancement of societies and the development of science and knowledge. Talking about faith guidance, without building a just and productive society that contributes to the development of human civilization, does not embody the truth of the Islamic message that came to reconstruct the earth and achieve a “good life” for all with all its social, economic, scientific and environmental meanings and fields.

The responsibility of the nation, which is at the forefront of the dawah mission, requires that it express the message of Islam and the loftiness of its teachings, and that it clings to the rope of God and does not allow conflict, division and division. Perhaps what is happening today in terms of conflicts and divisions among the sons of the Islamic nation represents the greatest insult to the image of Islam and its monotheistic spirit.

What our generations suffer today from the spirit of faith and its core values is the result of what ignorance, extremism and intolerance have reaped, and the problems and imbalances imposed by globalization, such as moral relativism, the loss of cultural identities, the marginalization of religious affairs, and the resulting “silent atheism” that cannot be easily remedied.

We live today in difficult circumstances that need to reorient the compass so that it is spiritual and emotional, especially as we face the escalation of fear of new global wars, disasters and epidemics that destroy life on our planet. This is what makes us need more courage in order to exist and defend the dignity of everyone and their right to a decent life.

One of the most beautiful teachings of the message brought by the Seal of the Prophets is its focus on building the common belief in the one God who represents the core of the faith. Therefore, the Holy Qur’an called on all followers of the heavenly laws to search for the common word, which begins with the worship of the One God, the Creator of everything and the Lord of everything. Say: O people of the book, come to a word together between us and between you, that we do not worship except God. Cooperation for all that is good for all mankind.

Absentees' property.. The occupation's means of Judaizing the old Hebron

Hebron - "Jerusalem" dot com - Jihad Al-Qawasmi - The Israeli occupation is trying to Judaize the ancient town of Hebron, taking advantage of what is called absentee property or state property, and issuing registration papers for settlers, which would seize the buildings of Palestinian citizens, Judaize the town, expand settlement, and impose new facts and change its demographic profile.

Fabricated novel
Jamal Talab al-Amleh, director of the Land Research Center, said that the city of Hebron is a historically targeted city due to its association with the sons of God, Ibrahim al-Khalil, even though he came to it while it was full of its Palestinian Canaanites, who are older than religions. This fabricated biblical narrative becomes a tool in the hands of the occupation to legitimize its existence, explaining that this false narrative will fall completely, if they abandon Hebron or if they move away from Hebron, and they seek from the beginning to intensify settlement there.

He added that the occupation tried to separate the city of Hebron from the towns and villages, accompanied by settlement within the city, pointing out that the settlement outposts inside the ancient town of Hebron are many and are within the classified area (H2), which is under absolute Israeli control, then they surrounded Hebron with cordons of settlements and colonies and surrounded villages with other settlements and bypass roads until the Hebron governorate became a group of islands scattered and cut off from each other.

Too dangerous
Al-Amleh explained that from reading what is happening on the ground in terms of spreading settlement, we see that there is a plan to isolate Hebron from the rest of the West Bank, through what is called absentee property or state property and renting it to settlers, but it came to them to officially register real estate in the settlers’ names, stressing that The Custodian of Absentee Property is not entitled to dispose of property and real estate in terms of sale or transfer of ownership, and his task is limited to preserving it from any encroachment.

He pointed out that the agreement between the Likud parties and the extreme right, to form the government, to expand settlement outposts in Hebron, constitutes a great danger and is one of the steps to Judaize the city, explaining that changing the essential function of the absentee property custodian raises many questions about the legal status of absentee property and the possibility of seizing it and expelling it. Protected citizens and tenants, thus Judaizing the old town of Hebron.

Catastrophic situation
Imad Hamdan, Director General of the Hebron Rehabilitation Committee, described the situation in the ancient town of Hebron as disastrous, and is working to increase the settlement and Jewish presence, as the occupation intends to establish a new settlement neighborhood and expand the "Abraham Abino" settlement by seizing the wholesale market and demolishing shops as far as Hakoura al-Kayal. In which the occupation destroyed 6 shops, which reinforces the settlement and Judaization of the entire town.

He explained that the occupation deliberately issued registration papers for settlers wishing to buy Palestinian property to facilitate the transfer of real estate and homes, instead of removing them from official Palestinian institutions, and this facilitates the process of appropriating real estate, so that the Palestinian and the settler become holders of property ownership papers, then the case is transferred to the Israeli courts and issued The decision is in favor of the settler, stressing that dozens of homes are threatened with eviction in the old town of Hebron.

The National Bureau: The new occupation government is stuck in the challenges of its coalition agreements

Nablus - "Jerusalem" dot com - Imad Saadeh - The National Bureau for Land Defense and Settlement Resistance indicated that the occupation government, "Ben Gvir-Smotrich" headed by "Netanyahu", seems, since its early days, to be stuck in a wide range of problems that cast a shadow on the state The Israeli occupation because of its program, on the basis of which it gained confidence from the Knesset.

The office of the Palestine Liberation Organization pointed out in a report that the coalition agreements between the participating parties in the government have committed this government itself to enacting a series of laws that constitute fertile material for a conflict over the nature of the state on the one hand,

And the relationship with the Palestinians on the other hand. It is not yet known to what extent this government will enact such laws that would bring about a fundamental change in the nature of the Israeli regime; Such as the impunity law that prevents Netanyahu from being brought to trial, the “overcoming” law that enables the Knesset to re-enact laws that the Supreme Court repealed for contradicting the Basic Laws, the law appointing judges and the president of the Supreme Court, and the discrimination law that allows utility owners not to provide service to customers for religious or religious motives. Moral, and the law abolishing the incitement to racism clause that prevents any list, party or person from participating in the Knesset elections under the pretext of incitement to racism and others.

This is on the Israeli side. As for the side that is related to the relationship with the Palestinians, we are facing a series of laws and measures granted by the coalition agreements to Ben Gvir and Smotrich and the Minister of Civil Administration, and other powers related to settler activity and the lives of Palestinians under occupation. Especially since the government coalition agreements ignored the existence of the Palestinian people and the existence of the occupation and emphasized at the same time, the Jewishness of the state and that the “Jewish people” alone have the exclusive right to unchallenged self-determination over all parts of the country, and that sovereignty will be imposed on “Judea and Samaria” with a choice The appropriate time and taking into account the national and diplomatic calculations of the State of Israel. And she confirmed that the government would strengthen Jewish settlement in the various regions of Palestine, especially in Jerusalem, the West Bank, Galilee and the Negev, as well as in the occupied Syrian Golan.

One of the early stages of this government's work is to extend the application of the Israeli Civil Law to settlers in the West Bank. In the first bill presented by the new Israeli government to the deputies for a vote in the first reading, the extension of the “emergency regulations” law in the occupied West Bank, officially known as the “Judea and Samaria” law, which was enacted by the occupation government for the first time in 1967 to regulate the lives of Israeli settlers in the occupied Palestinian territories by subjecting them to of Israeli civil laws, as citizens living outside the borders of the state. With the enactment of these laws, it was determined that their validity would be renewed once every five years, so that their enactment would not be considered an established law. On the other hand, the occupation imposes on the approximately 3 million Palestinians in the West Bank, laws and military orders. This law is in fact a copy of the "apartheid" laws that were in force in South Africa. The validity date of this law expired last June, but the Bennett-Lapid-Gantz government failed to extend it due to the opposition of the "Benjamin Netanyahu" camp and its refusal to extend these laws, as part of the camp's plan at the time to push the government to resign and advance the date of the Knesset elections. The law was approved again in the first reading, by a majority of 58 votes out of 120 deputies in the Israeli Knesset, despite the availability of a majority of 64 votes for the government coalition. Yesh Atid (Lapid) and the general camp (Benny Gantz) voted for the law. The bill was referred to the Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee to prepare it for its second and third readings. The new Minister of Justice, Yariv Levin, celebrated this development and said brazenly that we are starting to believe again in our right to all of the Land of Israel and we are going back to strengthening the settlements in the West Bank.

Handing over vast lands to settlers
And again, the work of the new Israeli government, too, is to plan to hand over to settlers lands in the occupied West Bank that exceed 13,000 dunams, and about 70 buildings in the city of Hebron, claiming that they owned them, or that they were heirs to their owners before the Nakba in 1948. This comes according to the agreement. The coalition between the Likud party and religious Zionism. According to this coalition agreement, the government must instruct the commander of the central region in the occupation army to amend military laws in order to transfer property from the hands of the official in charge of government property in the Civil Administration to the hands of its original owners. This opens the door wide to facilitate the expansion of settlements and the control of buildings that have been rented to Palestinians, as is the case in Hebron, in a policy that smells of racism and does not see that the Palestinians have lands and properties that were controlled by the occupation in Jerusalem, Hebron, and other vast Palestinian areas. It turns out that the areas that are being talked about are located in the area of the settlement bloc "Gush Etzion" in the Bethlehem governorate, and the area north of occupied Jerusalem in Nabi Samuel, Hableh, Battir and Beit Furik, some of which are located in areas classified (B) that are under Palestinian administrative control and Israeli security control. It is run by the "Civil Administration" of the occupation army.

The way is paved for the displacement of the Palestinians
On the other hand, it seems that the way has become paved for large-scale displacement of Palestinians, whether in areas belonging to Jerusalem or others belonging to the Hebron Governorate, despite all international reservations on such steps. Senior officers in the command of the Central Command of the occupation army, such as "Yehuda Fox", began planning to displace villages in the Masafer Yatta area, in the southern Hebron Hills, two months ago, at the initiative of the army and even without the approval of the Israeli government. This displacement plan was presented to the new Minister of Defense, Yoav Gallant, during his visit to the Central Command headquarters, last week, before it was discussed in the government. Sources estimate that the displacement of the Palestinian population from their villages will take place during the current year. We are talking here about the displacement of 12 villages, not the eight villages included in the last petition submitted by the residents to the Supreme Court. This is being done by claiming that the area was declared a military training area for shooting and that there were no permanent residences in the area two decades ago.
This is in the Hebron governorate. As for the Jerusalem governorate, Hebrew websites have published expectations about the new occupation government’s plan to demolish the Khan al-Ahmar Bedouin community in Jerusalem during the coming period, after the High Occupation Court approved it at the request of the “Regavim” settlement organization, which is headed by the head of the party. Religious Zionism and Finance Minister Smotrich. It is noteworthy that the occupation's haste to implement the demolition of Khan al-Ahmar will pave the way for the implementation of the project to separate the West Bank into two parts and complete the final separation of Jerusalem from the West Bank after the robbery of the so-called "E1", as there is only two and a half weeks left before the deadline set by the court for the demolition of the village of Khan al-Ahmar. On September 29, the Supreme Court issued a conditional order requiring the prime minister and his army minister to appear in court and explain why they did not move to implement the demolition orders issued two years ago against the Palestinian village, and gave them an additional period of time to implement the decision, which ends next February. It is worth noting that Al-Khan Al-Ahmar is surrounded by a number of settlements, as the community is located within the lands targeted by the occupation authorities to implement its settlement project called (E1), which includes the establishment of thousands of settlement units on large areas of Palestinian lands; With the aim of linking the "Ma'ale Adumim" settlement with the city of Jerusalem.

Expansive and continuous settlement activities
At the same time, this government continues to implement the settlement activities that it inherited from the previous government. The occupation forces began placing concrete blocks along the security wall west of the town of Qaffin, north of Tulkarm, to separate thousands of agricultural dunams belonging to Palestinian families from the surrounding villages. This section extends from the village of Salem to the city of Tulkarm, and the concrete wall rises to 9 meters, and is 45 kilometers long. This section of the wall includes fortifications and electronic means. Last November, the Minister of the Occupation Army, Benny Gantz, approved the construction of a new concrete wall in the northern West Bank, with a length of 100 km. Its construction was carried out in stages, and the first stage will extend to approximately 45 km.

Targeting Al-Aqsa Mosque
A dangerous acceleration was also revealed in the excavations carried out by the occupation authorities in the vicinity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque from the southern and southwestern sides, which threatens the collapse of the foundations of the mosque, its walls, and its ancient buildings. And the Old City, and the northern entrance to Silwan, as evidenced by the presence of workers, equipment, and machinery for excavation work in the targeted area, in addition to unloading and extracting rocks and soil from the bottom of the area. These excavations are supervised by the occupation municipality, the so-called “Wailing Wall Heritage Fund,” and the “Antiquities Authority.” Israeli, and settlement associations, under the administration of the extremist Israeli Minister of National Security, Itamar Ben Gvir.

outposts
Thousands of settlers also plan to spend the night of the Jewish Passover on the 5th of next April in the outposts of "Homesh" and "Eviatar" and stay there, benefiting from the shift in policy shown by the hard-line government, and they consider it a turning point, especially after the occupation government's intention to cancel major parts of the deconstruction law. Linkage, and the possibility of re-legitimizing the four settlements in the northern West Bank from which Israel withdrew in 2005 (Homesh, Ganim, Kadim, and Sanur). The settlers plan to refuse to leave the two outposts, both of which have a long history of legal battles and previous evictions.

Jenin - "Jerusalem" dot com - Ali Samoudi - The liberated prisoner Abd al-Hadi Fakhri Youssef Nazzal joined the convoys of martyrs, including a group of his family and relatives, including his uncle, the martyr Khaled Nazzal, a leader in the Democratic Front, and he often wished to join them as a martyr - as his mother says in An interview with Al-Quds.com, moments after he bid farewell for the last time inside the house he embraced in the town of Qabatiya , south of Jenin.

Nazzal says about her son, "He enjoyed a high patriotic and militant spirit, and was distinguished by his love for his country and his love for Jerusalem and Palestine. He always loved hearing the stories of our martyred relatives and asked for martyrdom. When I told him: We want to rejoice in you and see you as a groom, he refused and told me: Don't rush, you will rejoice and I will have a wedding." Kabir .. I did not know that the wedding for him was martyrdom, as he left early .. He resisted and obtained martyrdom, clashing and fulfilling his promise to me, so the moment of his funeral was a great patriotic wedding.

His mother indicated that Abdul Hadi did not complete his education to help his mother support the family of 6 members, despite his young age, but he was distinguished by his morals and was respected by all, noting that he was released from the occupation prisons 6 months ago.

Abdul-Hadi's companions tell the correspondent of "Al-Quds" dot-com that, according to his calmness and kindness, and how he dealt with people and his friends, he was deeply hated for the occupation, and was distinguished by a spirit of courage, daring and heroism before, during his arrest and after his liberation, and he recently and secretly joined the Qabatiya Battalion of the Al-Quds Brigades, and participated in the guard committees And the resistance, and he leads the ranks during the armed clashes, he took up arms and participated in all the battles of Qabatiya, the last of which was last Thursday evening.

His mother says about the last moments before his martyrdom, "He arrived home and ate food, and suddenly he put on his clothes and ran out without knowing the reason, so it turned out later that he hurried to leave when he heard that the occupation had stormed Qabatiya, and he did not let me notice his fear for my feelings and my health and so that I would not object to him."

At that time, the undercover special units infiltrated the town, and rushed to shoot directly and without reason at the house of the citizen Ali Abdul Rahman Kamil, where a number of his family members were present in the yard of the house, while the sniper teams had infiltrated the neighboring buildings to cover up the attack. Which coincided with the storming of more than 30 military patrols.

During the operation, the young man, Habibullah Muhammad Kamil (27 years old), was wounded by an explosive bullet that penetrated the head and caused a brain explosion. After the occupation prevented ambulances from reaching the site and providing relief to the wounded man, who remained bleeding for half an hour until he was taken by a local car to the Qabatiya Medical Complex and then to Al-Razi Hospital in Jenin, but the doctors declared him dead before he arrived.

With the spread of the news of the operation, the resistance fighters, including Abdul Hadi Nazzal , rushed to engage in violent clashes with the occupation forces, and the martyr's comrades say: "The news of Habib's martyrdom aroused everyone's anger, and in light of the continuation of the operation, armed clashes erupted, and Abdel Hadi advanced the ranks, and during his clash with the occupation he was wounded A bullet wound to the chest destroyed the lung.

According to the director of Al-Razi Hospital, Dr. Fawaz Hammad, the doctors struggled to save his life, but he died because a dum-dum bullet exploded in his chest and tore his lung.

At the moment Abd al-Hadi was injured, his mother felt that something bad had befallen her son, her heart was beating rapidly and she felt a state of tension, especially when she heard the sounds of intense gunfire, so she had to go out to the street to ask about him, until she was informed of his injury, but she informed them of his death before announcing it.

She says: "My heart, which loves him and adores him, felt his injury and pain, and my Lord gave me patience when I received the news of his martyrdom. He joined his martyr uncle, who bore his name, and joined the family's martyrs. For years, we have been paying the heavy tax and offering one martyr after another, and we are all proud of them."

In the last moments of farewell, the mother, Iman, threw her body over the body of the beloved of her heart, kissed him and hugged him while resisting her sorrows and tears, and said: “The Lord of the Worlds honored me with patience, and when I saw him being carried, I remembered his words about martyrdom and his wedding, and I did not believe that he had left me. I was watching him as if he was asleep and he was smiling.” I resisted my pain and approached him, kissed him and bid him farewell, and said to him: Goodbye, my soul, and my heart is satisfied with you and you.

As for his sister, Aseel, she insisted on accompanying him until the last moment of his departure, sometimes singing songs and others crying with anguish and anguish, then she raised her hands to the sky as she bid him farewell, and said in her simple words: “God suffices me, and He is the best disposer of affairs over the Jews and their helpers who took you from us quickly .. Goodbye, my brother.” You have won the sale. May God be pleased with you and honor you with the gardens of bliss. Peace be upon the martyrs, my beloved, and I wish you took me with you.

Launching a project to build an electric cable linking Cyprus to the European Union

Nicosia - (AFP) - Cyprus on Friday inaugurated a project funded by the European Union to build an undersea electric cable linking the island in the eastern Mediterranean with Greece.

The European Union agreed to provide financial support of 757 million euros to finance the construction of the cable in order to end the "isolation" of Cyprus in the field of energy.

Cyprus is the only European country that is not connected to the European continent in the gas or electricity sectors. It has been a member of the European Union since 2004.

The island has been divided since the Turkish army invaded in 1974 in response to a coup staged by nationalist Greek Cypriots. The Cypriot government exercises authority over the southern part of the island only.

The very expensive Eurasian interconnector will connect the power grids of Cyprus to those of Israel and Greece via a high-voltage direct current undersea transmission system.

The European Commission said that the cable, which will be 1,208 km long at a depth of more than 3,000 meters, "will set a new world record."

The total cost of the project, which will have a capacity of between one and two thousand megawatts, is 1.57 billion euros, according to the Cypriot authorities.

In a speech at the project launch ceremony, European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson said that the rise in energy prices due to the Russian attack on Ukraine in February confirms the importance of this project, which allows Europe to diversify its sources and enhance its energy security.

For his part, Cypriot President Nicos Anastasiades spoke of a "historic" day because the island is "in a good position to start building" the cable.

Construction of the Eurasian interconnector is scheduled to begin later this year and be completed in 2027.

Anastasiades said that Cyprus could become an energy exporter with capacities starting from 120 GWh in 2027 to 1,000 in 2030 and exceeding 1,800 in 2033.

Iran: The gas sector needs investments estimated at $80 billion

Tehran - (dpa) - Iran has confirmed that it needs tens of billions of dollars in investments in the natural gas sector.

Bloomberg news agency commented that this reflects how the sector will struggle to boost its production even if the United States lifts sanctions against Iran.
Iran has the largest proven gas reserves in the world after Russia. However, Oil Minister Javad Oji said that the country may have to import this fuel from abroad in the coming years.

The Iranian Student News Agency (ISNA) quoted the minister as saying: "We have to invest 80 billion dollars in the coming years... In the absence of sufficient investment, we will have to import."

He added that Iran also needs to pump more investments into oil refineries to ensure that it continues to be able to meet domestic demand for diesel and gasoline.
Western oil and gas companies largely suspended their projects in Iran after former US President Donald Trump withdrew from the nuclear deal with Iran, and the subsequent tightening of sanctions against them.
