Israel authorities issued 1,034 administrative detention orders against Palestinians during the past month

The Prisoners' and Ex-Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club said in a statement today, Wednesday, that during the month of October, the Israeli occupation forces issued "1,034" administrative detention orders, including "904" orders issued against new detainees, and "130" orders issued against new detainees. Renewal order.

The statement added that the total number of administrative detention orders after October 7 amounted to (872) orders, most of which were against those who were arrested during the arrest campaigns carried out in the West Bank recently.

It explained that according to the latest data, the number of administrative detainees “detained without charge and under the pretext of the existence of a secret file” in the occupation detention centers reached (2070) administrative detainees, including women and children, and these numbers change daily, as more administrative detention orders continue to be issued.

It is noteworthy that the majority of administrative detainees are former prisoners who spent years in Israeli occupation detention centers, noting that this increasing percentage in the number of administrative detainees is the highest in more than 20 years.

It is worth noting that the crime of administrative detention constitutes the most prominent crimes pursued by the Israeli occupation, within the framework of mass retaliatory operations, and to undermine any escalating struggle against it.
