Israeli approval to establish a settlement in Ras al-Amud in Jerusalem

Yesterday, the Israeli District Planning and Building Committee in Jerusalem approved the establishment of a new settlement called “Kadmat Zion” in Ras al-Amud, next to the apartheid wall near Abu Dis.

The Haaretz newspaper reported on 5/2/2023 that the army must provide a guard network for this settlement consisting of four armed guards, establish an electronic wall, facial recognition cameras, a fortified car, bright lights, and a patrol street.
