Israel arrests five Palestinians in Jerusalem, two near Jenin

Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinian men from the towns of Fahma and Faqqua, in the greater Jenin area. 

Local sources said that one of the young men, Ahmed Fahmawi, was detained as he passed through a military checkpoint in the area, while the other – Moamen Sa’abneh – was detained while inside Israel. 

Also on Friday, Israeli occupation forces arrested five Palestinians from occupied East Jerusalem. 

Four were detained in the Bab Hutta neighborhood of the Muslim Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, and were taken for interrogations. 

The other Palestinian Uday Ghaith, the son of the governor of Jerusalem Adnan Ghaith, was arrested in front of his house in Silwan.
