50,000 worshipers perform Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque

Some 50,000 worshipers performed Friday prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to the Waqf, despite strict measures imposed by the Israeli occupation forces at the gates of the Old City of occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources said that Israeli occupation forces were deployed around the gates to Al-Aqsa Mosque, stopped several worshippers and checked their identity cards.
