British Deputy Prime Minister Dominic Raab announced his resignation Friday after an independent report concluded he bullied civil servants in a setback for Prime Minister Rishi Sunak , of whom he was an ally.
"I am writing to you to resign from your government," Raab, the Minister of Justice, also wrote in this letter to Sunak.
He added, "I asked for this investigation and pledged to resign if the facts of bullying were proven, whatever they were," stressing, "I think it is important to respect my word."
