The occupation sentences a prisoner from Jenin to imprisonment and a fine, and transfers another to administrative detention

Today, Monday, the Military Occupation Court in Salem Camp issued a prison sentence against prisoner Majd Zahi Al-Saadi for a period of 17 months and a fine of 2,000 shekels.

The family of the captive Al-Saadi told Wafa that he has been detained since September 12, 2022, and his trial has been extended six times under pretexts.

The same court also transferred prisoner Jibril Muhammad Abd al-Rahman al-Zubaidi (36 years old) to administrative detention for a period of 6 months.

Al-Zubaidi was arrested two months ago and is in Megiddo prison. He is the brother of the two prisoners, Zakariya Al-Zubaidi, a member of the Fatah Revolutionary Council, and Yahya Al-Zubaidi, and the brother of the two martyrs, Dawood and Taha Al-Zubaidi.

Al-Zubaidi spent 12 years continuously in the occupation prisons, where he was arrested in 2004 and released in 2016, then arrested more than once, and went on a hunger strike at the end of 2020 after the occupation transferred him to administrative detention despite the end of his 10-month sentence.
