Injuries of suffocation in Ras al-Amud, and settlers attack citizens in Sheikh Jarrah

Jerusalem - "Jerusalem" dot com - Three children, including a baby girl, suffocated this evening, Thursday, as a result of inhaling tear gas fired by the Israeli occupation forces, during clashes that broke out in the Ras al-Amud neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem .


The Palestinian Red Crescent Society in Jerusalem reported that its crews transported three children, including a 7-day-old baby, from Ras al-Amoud neighborhood, who were suffocated by tear gas canisters fired by the occupation soldiers towards the citizens and their homes.


It added that more of its crews headed towards the neighborhood, after dozens of injuries were reported with rubber-coated metal bullets and suffocation.


Local sources reported that clashes broke out in Ras al-Amoud neighborhood, adding that the occupation forces arrested Louay Alqam after raiding his house and assaulting his family in the neighborhood.


In Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, settlers attacked citizens and smashed the windows of several vehicles, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces, who arrested two young men after assaulting them.


The Palestine Red Crescent Society in Jerusalem said that its teams dealt with 18 injuries to citizens in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, after the settlers attacked them under the protection of the occupation forces.


Local sources reported that large groups of settlers stormed the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, under the protection of the occupation forces, and attacked the residents of the neighborhood, throwing stones at their homes and smashing the windows of several vehicles.


The sources added that the citizens repelled the settlers' intrusion, which led to clashes with the Israeli occupation forces, who fired tear gas and sound bombs at the citizens and their homes.
