5 Martyrs, Including a Child, in Israeli Bombing Targeting a Residential Apartment in Al-Nasser Neighborhood in Gaza

Field sources reported that Israeli occupation forces committed a new massacre against civilians in the Gaza Strip, after warplanes targeted a populated residential apartment in Al-Nasser neighborhood, located north of Gaza City. The violent attack led to widespread destruction in the targeted building and neighboring homes, causing a state of panic and terror among the safe residents in the area that was subjected to the sudden bombing.

The death toll from the Israeli aggression on Al-Nasser neighborhood rose to five martyrs, after initial estimates indicated that four citizens were killed in the first moments of the targeting. Medical sources confirmed that among the martyrs was a young girl who arrived at the medical complex in torn pieces, due to the force of the explosion that turned the residential apartment into rubble, in a scene reflecting the extent of the destructive power used against civilian targets.

Regarding the injuries, medical teams recorded the arrival of ten wounded to hospitals, whose injuries were described as varying in severity, with children making up the majority of the injured. Reports clarified that at least eight children are currently receiving the necessary medical care, under difficult health conditions suffered by the medical sector as a result of the continued siege and ongoing aggression on various areas of Gaza.

Search and rescue operations are still ongoing under the rubble of the targeted apartment, amidst serious fears of an increase in the number of martyrs and injured in the coming hours. This massacre comes in the context of an ongoing military escalation affecting densely populated residential areas, as Palestinian sources previously reported the martyrdom of three other people in a similar bombing that targeted the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
