On Monday, the 'Hamas' movement called on mediators to compel Israel to complete the terms of U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip and exchange prisoners.
'Hamas' announced in a statement: 'The Al-Qassam Brigades and the resistance in the Gaza Strip will release 20 prisoners of the occupation, as part of the steps to implement the first phase of Trump's plan to stop the war on the Gaza Strip.'
The movement emphasized 'the importance of mediators working to compel the Zionist enemy to fulfill its obligations under the agreement and to complete the implementation of all its terms.'
Hamas confirms that the issue of prisoners will remain a top national priority for Palestinians.
