The Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission announced today, Sunday, that it has documented a total of 38,359 assaults carried out by the Israeli occupation army and settlers against citizens and properties since October 7, 2023.
The number of assaults by the occupation army reached 31,205, while settlers carried out 7,154 assaults, resulting in the martyrdom of 33 citizens, 14 of whom were from Nablus Governorate, 12 from Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, 3 from Hebron Governorate, and one martyr each from Bethlehem, Qalqilya, and Salfit.
During the same period, settlers established 114 new colonial outposts, an unprecedented number, which led to the displacement of 33 Palestinian Bedouin communities, consisting of 455 families and including 2,853 individuals from their places of residence to other locations.
The occupying state seized 55,000 dunams of citizens' lands, including 20,000 dunams under the pretext of modifying the boundaries of nature reserves, and 26,000 dunams through 14 state land declarations in the governorates of Jerusalem, Nablus, Ramallah, Bethlehem, and Qalqilya.
The occupation began to establish buffer zones around the settlements through a series of military orders, totaling 25 areas around the settlements, most of which are concentrated in the northern West Bank.
The occupation authorities carried out a total of 1,014 demolition operations, marking a significant and dangerous escalation in the procedures against Palestinian buildings, affecting 3,679 facilities, including 1,288 inhabited homes.
The head of the commission, Minister Muayad Shaaban, stated in a press conference that Palestinian lands have turned in the last two years into a laboratory for unprecedented colonial policies.
He emphasized that confronting this fierce colonial assault is not the responsibility of a specific entity, but rather a collective national duty.
