French President Emmanuel Macron: He considered that there is now "an opportunity for decisive progress towards peace," and that the release of detainees and a ceasefire "is within reach."
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer: He described Hamas's acceptance of the plan as "an important step forward," reaffirming his strong support for President Trump's efforts and urging all parties to implement the plan "without delay."
The German Chancellor: He described the initiative as "the best opportunity for achieving peace in Gaza."
The Irish Prime Minister: He expressed hope that the announcement would pave the way for an immediate ceasefire and an increase in the flow of aid.
For his part, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan described Hamas's response as "a constructive and important step towards achieving lasting peace," emphasizing that "the occupation must stop all attacks immediately and commit to the ceasefire plan."
His Foreign Ministry confirmed that Hamas's response opens the possibility for achieving lasting peace.
The Australian Prime Minister welcomed the progress made, reaffirming his country's ongoing support for a two-state solution.
In contrast, the Malaysian Prime Minister took a more cautious stance, considering the peace plan "not ideal," but emphasizing that the priority now is to "save the lives of the Palestinian people and stop the Zionist oppression."
The occupation must stop all attacks immediately and commit to the ceasefire plan.
