The Hague Group, co-chaired by South Africa and Colombia, announced the approval of a joint action plan by 34 governments to stop the genocide in the Gaza Strip.
The group's statement said, "Israel's actions constitute genocide, and the statement condemned its defiance of the International Court of Justice and the United Nations," affirming the participating governments' commitment to implementing coordinated measures that include: halting arms transfers, obstructing military shipments, stopping purchases from Israeli companies, reducing energy exports, and seeking accountability in international courts worldwide.
The statement added that there is a legal and moral obligation for countries to prevent any direct or indirect cooperation that would enable Israel to commit acts that may amount to organized crimes against civilians in Gaza.
The Palestinian people cannot wait, and the Hague Group will not rest until international law is applied.
