100,000 expected injuries and disabilities in the occupying army by 2028

Estimates from the Israeli Ministry of Defense revealed that 100,000 injured soldiers will be dealt with by 2028, including about 50,000 with psychological injuries, while the occupying army intends to call up between 80,000 and 100,000 reservists to participate in its ongoing operation to occupy the city of Gaza.

The Hebrew newspaper "Israel Hayom" stated that: "The new statistics represent the fastest growth in the number of casualties in the history of Israeli wars," adding that Defense Minister "Israel Katz" and Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich announced the establishment of "a joint public committee to expand the response to improve the care and rehabilitation of injured soldiers."

The newspaper clarified that this comes "against the backdrop of the increase in the number of casualties" in the "Iron Swords" war, where the committee will attempt to "enhance the comprehensive response to include rehabilitation processes, personal and community follow-up, psychological therapeutic support, and the integration of the injured into society and the labor market."
