Gaza: The total number of dead reaches 64,231.. 84 martyrs in 24 hours and new deaths from famine.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced in its daily statistical report issued on September 4, 2025, that 84 citizens were killed and 338 others were injured in the past 24 hours due to the ongoing aggression of the occupation.

Thus, the horrific total of victims since October 7, 2023, rises to 64,231 dead and 161,583 injured.

The report indicated that the announced figures represent only those who reached the hospitals, as a large number of victims remain under the rubble and in the streets, and rescue and civil defense teams face significant difficulties in reaching them.

In an important update to the records, the ministry clarified that 401 dead have been added to the cumulative statistics, who are those whose data has been completed and officially approved by the judicial committee responsible for following up on the missing persons file.

The humanitarian tragedy continues with other dimensions, as the ministry recorded the martyrdom of 17 people and the injury of 174 others in the past 24 hours while trying to obtain assistance, raising the total of "martyrs of livelihood" to 2,356 dead and more than 17,244 injured.

On another note, famine and malnutrition have led to the death of 3 new individuals in recent hours, bringing the total number of deaths due to these causes to 370 cases, including 131 children, indicating a serious escalation of the health and humanitarian disaster in the sector.

In light of these tragic figures, the Ministry of Health renewed its urgent appeal to the families of the dead and the missing to complete their data through the official channels it has announced, in order to fulfill and document all data within the official records to ensure that no name is lost from the records of the victims of the aggression.
