Comment from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Israel's attack on Nasser Hospital in Gaza

China Arabic Television: Israeli forces attacked Al-Nasser Hospital in Gaza yesterday, resulting in the deaths of several medical workers who were trying to save lives, as well as several journalists. What is China's comment?

Goh Jia Kun: We are deeply shocked by the tragic deaths of medical workers and journalists once again in the Gaza conflict. We condemn the attack and express our sorrow for the victims and our sympathy for their families.

China is closely monitoring the situation in Gaza. We oppose and condemn all actions that harm civilians, destroy civilian facilities, and violate international law, including those violent actions targeting journalists. Israel must immediately cease its military operations in Gaza, achieve a complete and lasting ceasefire as soon as possible, fully resume humanitarian supplies, avoid a broader humanitarian crisis, and calm the situation as quickly as possible.
