Israeli analysts: The plan to occupy Gaza faces significant obstacles, and these are the most prominent ones.

Analysts in Israeli media have acknowledged that the plan to occupy the city of Gaza faces significant difficulties, as these obstacles relate to the situation of the occupying army and the risk of sacrificing the detained prisoners. Additionally, the readiness of resistance factions to confront and engage complicates matters further.

Channel "Kan 11" reported that the Israeli army is preparing to implement a plan that includes the large-scale displacement of residents from the city of Gaza, where the number of Palestinians is estimated to exceed 800,000. The plan also includes separating the city from the central Gaza area by re-establishing the Netzarim axis.

A major ground operation in the city will begin simultaneously with extensive airstrikes, further complicating the situation. Israeli officials have noted "humanitarian constraints" that hinder the implementation of the plan, amid international pressures against the displacement of residents.

Channel 12 described the city of Gaza as "the unofficial capital of the Palestinians in the sector," where military and political decisions related to Hamas are made. This means that the occupying army will face a complex urban environment, filled with residents, narrow alleys, and a network of tunnels.

The operational and military challenges facing the occupying army are increasing, especially with estimates of prisoners in the area. Former Mossad Deputy Chief, Udi Leibovitch, called for a red alert regarding the sacrifice of prisoners, pointing to the risks faced by soldiers.

Knesset member Efrat Rayten also described the plan to occupy Gaza as a major adventure, putting the lives of prisoners and soldiers at risk. She emphasized that the resistance in Gaza has prepared a large number of ambushes in high buildings, making the mission more difficult.

Rayten questioned the readiness of military vehicles, noting that army forces are suffering from exhaustion. A week ago, the Israeli Prime Minister's Office announced that the security cabinet had approved a proposal to take control of the city of Gaza.
