The Occupation's Foreign Minister Accuses Hamas of Starving Detainees and Criticizes Western Countries' Positions Ahead of a Security Council Session

The Foreign Minister of the Occupation Entity, Gidon Sa'ar, launched a scathing attack on Hamas, accusing it of deliberately starving detainees in the Gaza Strip in an attempt to tighten the noose on Palestinians and impose its conditions for remaining in power. He emphasized that these policies are part of Hamas's attempt to impose its conditions on the international community and that it seeks to use the detainees as leverage to achieve its political goals.

In his remarks, Sa'ar strongly criticized the positions of Western countries, describing them as a "gift to Hamas," expressing concern that the steps taken by France, Britain, Canada, and other countries could strengthen the movement's position rather than pressure it. He warned that these policies could prolong the war and increase the suffering of Palestinians in the Strip.

Regarding the future of the Gaza Strip, Sa'ar confirmed that Israel continues its discussions with the United States, aiming to establish a clear vision for the post-war phase. He stated that there are American efforts to develop a future plan that ensures the security and stability of the region, noting that Israel is discussing with Washington the security situation in the Strip after the current military operations conclude.

In a related context, the minister pointed out that Hamas is trying to impose conditions for remaining in power, and that the movement must relinquish its weapons and accept the return of detainees without preconditions. He affirmed that Israel will not allow Hamas to control the future of Gaza and that it will take necessary measures to ensure the security of its citizens, including working to end Hamas's rule in the Strip.

In conclusion, Sa'ar issued a warning to countries that support Hamas's actions, stating that these countries must realize that their support for the movement could lead to escalating situations and increasing the suffering of Palestinians, and that Israel will continue to work to protect its security and national interests by all possible means.
