The Government Media Office in Gaza called on Saturday for immediate action to open humanitarian corridors into Gaza, end the deliberate politicization of aid, and lift the blockade to halt the catastrophe of mass starvation.
He said in a statement: "This is an urgent international appeal, directed to the international community and to all countries of the world without exception, to all UN, international, human rights and legal organizations, and to all political entities, in light of the worsening humanitarian catastrophe in the Gaza Strip, which has been raging for 651 days, through genocide and starvation."
He added, "Imposing safe and permanent humanitarian corridors under direct and effective international supervision to ensure the delivery of food and medicine to all areas without obstruction from the occupation."
He called for removing the politicization of relief aid and halting any manipulation or control of it by the occupation or complicit parties.
The government office in Gaza stressed that the blockade on the Gaza Strip must be lifted immediately, considering it a collective crime against the civilian population.
He called for international pressure to compel the Israeli occupation to halt the genocide and stop its policies of starvation and displacement.
He also called for an urgent international investigation into the starvation crime and for those responsible to be brought to justice.
