In a statement issued Wednesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considered what the Hebrew media reported about the transfer of the authority to manage and supervise the Ibrahimi Mosque from the Hebron Municipality to a colonial council an unprecedented step aimed at imposing control over the mosque, Judaizing it, and completely changing its identity and features.
