Updated: One dead and several others injured, some seriously, by settler gunfire north of Hebron.

A citizen was killed and eight others were injured, including one seriously, by settler gunfire in Surif, Hebron.

The Ministry of Health reported the martyrdom of citizen Muhammad Ahmad Mahmoud Al-Hour (48 years old), and the injury of another person seriously by settler bullets in Surif.

According to local sources, a group of settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, fired live ammunition at citizens in the Al-Qurainat area as they attempted to extinguish a fire started by settlers on the land there.

Sources explained that the incident resulted in the death of one citizen and the injury of eight others, some of whom were seriously injured. Some of the injured were transferred to nearby hospitals, while others are still receiving treatment at a medical center in the town.
