Today, Thursday, Israeli occupation forces bulldozed the entrances to a large number of shops and commercial establishments in the town of Ramadin, south of Hebron.
Local sources said that the occupation forces stormed the town entrance and the main road connecting the towns of Adh Dhahiriya and Ar Ramadin with military vehicles and bulldozers. They completely closed the road, preventing citizens from moving, bulldozing the entrances to a large number of shops and commercial establishments, and building a trench along the road.
She explained that these shops and establishments comprise a chain of stores spread along the road, and constitute the primary and sole source of income for a large number of families. She explained that the occupation's objective behind these bulldozing operations is to prevent residents and customers from accessing them and force their owners to close their businesses.
About a week ago, the occupation forces notified more than 30 shops and commercial establishments in the area of demolition. In December of last year, they demolished more than 40 shops and commercial establishments in the same area after forcibly evacuating their owners.
