On Friday, Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz received an American invitation to participate in the NATO summit scheduled to be held in Washington, D.C., on July 9.
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement, “Foreign Minister Israel Katz received an invitation from his American counterpart, Anthony Blinken, to participate in the NATO summit, which will be held in the presence of US President Joe Biden on July 9 in Washington.”
She indicated that the summit will be held "on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of NATO."
Washington will host the next NATO summit during the period between July 9-11.
