The Gulf states condemn the bombing of a camp for Palestinian displaced people

Saudi Arabia calls on the international community to intervene and stop Israel’s massacres


The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed in a statement on Monday that the Kingdom condemns the Israeli attacks on Gaza, "the latest of which was the targeting of the tents of displaced Palestinians near the warehouses of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) northwest of Rafah."


In a statement, it affirmed the Kingdom’s “categorical rejection of the continued blatant violations by the Israeli occupation forces of all international and humanitarian resolutions, laws and norms,” and called on the international community “to intervene immediately to stop the massacres committed by the Israeli occupation forces to limit the aggravation of the unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe that the Palestinian people are going through.”


Qatar condemns the bombing of a camp for displaced people in Rafah and calls for Israel to be obligated to comply with the international justice decision


The State of Qatar condemned “in the strongest terms the Israeli bombing that targeted a camp for displaced people in Rafah in the Gaza Strip, leaving dozens of martyrs and wounded,” and considered it a serious violation of international laws that would double the worsening humanitarian crisis in the besieged Strip.


In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need for the Israeli authorities to adhere to the decision of the International Court of Justice calling for an end to the military attacks on Rafah, and called on the international community to take urgent action to prevent the commission of the crime of genocide, provide full protection for civilians, and prevent the occupation forces from implementing their plans aimed at forcing them to surrender. Forced displacement from the city, which became a final refuge for hundreds of thousands of displaced people inside the Gaza Strip.


The Ministry expressed the State of Qatar's concern that the bombing would complicate ongoing mediation efforts and hinder reaching an agreement for an immediate and permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the exchange of prisoners and detainees, which would exacerbate the effects of this war and its repercussions on regional and international security.


The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterated the State of Qatar's firm position on the justice of the Palestinian issue, the legitimate rights of the brotherly Palestinian people, and the establishment of its independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The Sultanate of Oman expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the continued Israeli aggression in Gaza, and the recent targeting of a displaced persons camp in Rafah in the Gaza Strip.


It stressed in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday that these heinous acts that the occupying state continues to commit require deterrent international intervention, including the international community imposing sanctions on Israel, given the clear violation of international law and international humanitarian law by its brutal aggressive practices.
