Three Israelis dead and injures in a shooting attack in Jerusalem
Three Israelis were killed, and at least 12 others were injured, with injuries described as moderate to serious, as a result of a shooting attack carried out on Thursday morning in the city of Jerusalem, where shots were fired at a group of settlers when they were at a bus waiting stop in the “Ramot” settlement.
Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem announced the arrival of 4 serious injuries and one moderate injury from the site of the shooting attack near Ramot.
The Israeli media reported that the shooting took place on the main street of the Ramot settlement in Jerusalem. Following the shooting, the Israeli police mobilized its forces and deployed to the site of the shooting in Ramot.
It reported that the shooting took place at the northwestern entrance to the occupied city of Jerusalem, and was carried out by three Palestinians, who were killed at the scene.
The Israeli Channel 7 reported that the perpetrators of the shooting attack in Jerusalem were two brothers from the town of Sur Baher, east of the occupied city.
The Israeli occupation police stormed the home of the family of Ibrahim and Murad al-Nimr in Sur Baher. According to the Israeli media, they were the perpetrators of the “Ramot” settlement operation and werekilled during the exchange of fire.
