Israeli Settlers storm the Old City of Hebron

Today, Tuesday, dozens of armed settlers stormed the Old City, including the Ibrahimi Mosque, in the center of Hebron.

According to local sources, the settlers organized a provocative march that started from the vicinity of the Ibrahimi Mosque and reached the Osama bin Al-Mundhid School, which the occupation transformed into a religious institute for graduating rabbis and called it the “Beit Romano” settlement.

The settlers roamed the streets and alleys of the Old City to celebrate their Jewish holidays, and chanted racist, anti-Arab slogans, most notably “Death to the Arabs.” The occupation forces also obstructed the passage of citizens in the Old City, prevented them from reaching their homes, and closed a number of roads leading to the town.
